Billboard Music Awards

After I checked in to the last half of the billboard awards. Luke did amazing first of all. I wish he would of won some award but he can't do it all. I loved, loved Jason Deruloo's performance. I loved that he did multiple different songs to his set. I also really enjoyed that Jordan Sparks presented him. I thought that was super cute! One thing that was little bit of a disappointment was that I thought Justin Bieber was going be there and he wasn't. I am later going to re-watch from the beginning just to make sure he wasn't. 

Another thing that I thought was really cool was when Luke Bryan performed; Florida Georgia Line was jamming out to his song. This is so cool they were just like fans. I did enjoy seeing Austin Mahone there. One thing that was really awkward. It was when Robin Thicke performed he was on his knees and was air grinding. There was fan right in front of him and she just kind of turned her head you could tell that she was really uncomfortable as well. She didn't want to be in that position. Especially since he was singing about getting his wife back and how much he misses her. Even when it's his own fault she is gone in the first place. Because he cheated on her. Anyway it was really weird.

Another great thing was when John Legend performed. He has such great range and I love his song "All Of Me" I think that song is just perfection. He also sang a song that isn't on the radio yet and it was also really good.  I feel like this years award show was really good. I think it was good thing Miley was on tour so we didn't have anything here that was super unexpected. I was a little sad though that Justin Timberlake was on tour but his acceptance speech was funny he said "I would like to thank everybody in the world, everybody except Donald Sterling I don't like that guy." My whole family was laughing so hard.  I would also like to point out Ludacris' nice shoes I thought those were so cool.

I was sad that I missed Michael Jackson’s performance. I recorded the whole show though so I will have to go back and watch it. I heard good and bad things about his performance. My younger sister who is a big fan of him said she didn’t like it because you could tell that it was not real. But I think that it is really cool that we have come that far in technology that we can bring back people from the dead to perform. But now that I just typed it, it kind of sounds weird .What if we could bring other great people like that back. It would be interesting to see how it goes as we further in technology.

I hope everyone enjoyed this blog. I would just like to let all of you know that I won't be posting as frequently as I was or as long of posts. But I will still try to post.

Lorde

After watching Lorde on the Billboard music awards tonight, I have come to the conclusion that I love her music. But I can't stand to watch her perform. She moves weird. And last time she was performing she had black from her nail all the way to her knuckles.  I mean my nails look that when I paint them but she has someone to do her nails for her. And there is a thing called finger nail polish remover, or hot water to get the excess off. Her songs sound nothing like how she dresses. She dresses very goth but her music is electro-pop.  So when you see her perform you are or I am a little scared when she comes on stage. I honestly wonder who it is every time. 

Something that appalls me is that she is only 17 and she wrote her current album Pure Heroine she wrote it when she was 15. That's just crazy to be so young and have so much talent. I also understand that in this day and age being different is good. But some people take it to far like Lorde did.  Like Lady Gaga does the same thing and has done the same  thing for a while. But now she doesn't so much. She just kind of fell off the face of the planet. Whatever I hope that Lodre continues to keep making music. Because her music is great I love it. I could just go with out seeing perform all of the time.

How safe are we?

We think of America as a mostly safe place to live. Especially compared to other countries. But are we really that safe. I think we try to change our minds about things that happen. We try to tell ourselves excuses. In reality everywhere you go you are putting yourself at risk. I'm not saying any of this to scare you. Just recent events have got me thinking about things. 

They are things going on in America that are scary. In the place where you are supposed to be the safest aren't safe anymore. Like school for example, that is where you are supposed to feel the safest. But you’re not. With bullies, you could be verbally or physically attacked at school. I have heard some instances of people going to the principal when they get bullied and the principal just shrugs it off like it is nothing. Then with some students they will let the bullying continue to happen like it is nothing. In other situations the student will try to stand up to the bully, which could turn violent. This is where it gets screwed up. When the student tries to stand up to the bully and it does turn violent. Than the student who was being bullied gets in trouble which doesn't make any sense. Another thing about schools that makes it, safe is the ongoing threat of school shootings, or stabbings. There is a constant scare. Everyone thinks it can't happen to them. But you don't know that for sure. A lot of times when it does happen, a lot of people don't do the right thing. A lot of students are taught to basically sit and stay in their room. But aren't you just waiting to be killed. You like a sitting duck waiting to get shot. We use to do that at our school but they have recently changed the rules for a strict lock down and a non-strict lock down. For a strict lock down we are supposed to do what we have always been taught. For a non-strict lock down we are supposed basically run for your life like the hunger games or something. This doesn’t make any sense either. Also a lot of the teachers at my school don't take it seriously. Some act like it is a joking matter.  It’s not though it is life in death in SCHOOL that’s ridiculous. I think that school is the safest place you can be. If home isn't safe than at least you have school. But now school isn't even safe. 

Faking It

I started watching Faking it on MTV.It is on before Awkward on Tuesdays. It is definitely not something you watch with little kids. It is more for teens and older. It has some mature jokes. But it is funny. They basis of the show is quite unique also. The story line is about two girls who go to a new school. The top of the school as the "in" crowd is a gay guy, a feminist and a earth conscious guy. This right off the bat is a great combo. The usual "popular" girl is actually an outcast. This show is so good. It isn't like other shows. Like a lot of the shows on MTV.

Ap Exams

May is coming do you know what that means. The joy of AP exams! If you are in an Ap class there is likely chance that you have thought about taking the Ap Exam. I am currently in two Ap classes. I am in Ap Language and Competition, I am also in Ap U.S. History. I think part of the reason I am not taking the AP lang test is because of my teacher. I feel like I haven't learned anything in that class. The whole reason took the class was to learn to write. That class is so much more than that. It was a lot harder than I expected. I don't want to take the AP test and pay the $90 just to fail it anyway.

I think if I retained as much information this term of APUSH the rest of the year. I would totally take the exam. I know I could rock the multiple choice portion of the test. But again with the DBQ I don't think I would do that. I really struggle with thesis statements. That is a key point in writing essays. Another thing with APUSH is that I don't really retain anything until the 1920's. There is a lot of things that happened in history for that. I think anything before that is interesting.  I love that whole era after the 1920's.

If you don't want to pay for AP exams. There are tests that you can take before you get in to college. I am not sure what they are called. But you take the test and it places you in a semester. Let’s say you took APUSH and you took the placement test in college. They could put you in 1st semester of a sophomore college. It is only like $30 test and it is cheaper than AP exams and it is like free college. It is almost like skipping a grade in elementary school. Which they don't do any more. I feel like it is a better option to do. It saves you a lot more money in the long run.

If you are taking an AP exam this month wish you the very best. Especially on the writing sections. If you aren’t taking an AP exam good luck on the finals for the AP class. I think the best part is after the AP exam is just doing fun stuff. Watching movies or playing games. I look forward to that part the most.

#throwbackthursday

Why do we think we can only post old pictures on Thursdays?  I want to know where throwback Thursday began. The first time I saw it, it was on instagram. As it became more popular it started on twitter as well.Then slowly but surely made it's way to Facebook. If you don't know what throwback Thursday is. It is when you post an older picture on social media. The oldness of the picture ranges from baby to yesterday. If you search #tbt on intagram. Which is  a shortened version of it. There are 194,429,170 posts that show up. On Thursday that is almost all you see. I think that it is dumb when post a picture for throwback Thursday from any time of that week. 

There are similar things like throwback Thursday on other days of the week. There are #mancandymoday, #womencrushwednesday, and #selfiesunday. People also try to make #tossbacktuesday and #flashbackfriday. But they are usually not that common. Originally #wcw and #mcm were used for celebrities of someone you thought was attractive. Now it is still used for that but it is also used to embarrass you friends. You see a lot of people posting pics with these hashtags. Sometimes it can get annoying. But not everyone posts on these days. I would have to say #tbt is the most popular one. There are also some girls that every single week on Wednesday they post a picture of themselves as a #wcw. I feel like that goes against the unwritten rule of social media. A long with liking your own post. Of course you like what you posted or you wouldn't have posted it. I feel like it is the same thing with posting a picture of you self as a #wcw. I feel like it is unnecessary, other people that see it aren't going to like it. They are most likely to just roll their eyes at you and your post. Especially if you do it every single week then you will eventually have no followers or friends. I see most of this stuff on instagram rather than on twitter or Facebook. 

While on the topic of instagram I hate when people post more than one #tbt picture save it for next week or just choose your favorite. I do not need to relive your life through instagram pictures. Another thing that is annoying is when people only use hashtags in their description. They have so many hashtags that don't even make sense nor do they relate to each other. They only reason people do it is to get a lot of likes on their page. If you are that desperate to get likes you need more activities in your life. Besides instagram. 

Fandoms

Every band, celebrity has one. If we are honest with ourselves, it was either "Potterhead" or the "beliebers". But also if everyone is honest then they are part of one.  It has become quite popular the last four years.  So much that there has been award for the best fandom. Fandom's make people feel like they are a part of something. There are people that can connect over the same thing they like. But if something happens in two or more different fandom it is like a high school cat fight. It gets ugly and quick. There are two things that make me mad about fandoms.

The first thing that makes me mad about fandoms is that some people act like you can only be a part of one fandom. If you break it down it is basically people get mad if you like more than one person at time. Which is really stupid. You should be able to like who you like and no worry about drama with other fandoms. Another thing is that when a fandom has been around for a while then new people come in. People get mad because the person they found gets more famous. Which is dumb, why would you want to keep that person to yourself. You should want everyone to know about them. It is just more people you could become friends with and connect over the same thing.

The other thing that makes me mad about fandoms is that a lot of the major fandoms don't get along which makes me mad. Can't we all just support each other and each other’s artist. Why can't we all be friends. I know there have been numerous fights on twitter with different fandoms. According the things I have gathered a lot of the fandoms of Scooters artist don't get along with the One direction fandoms. Justin Bieber and One direction get along great but their fan bases don't. Another fandom that doesn't get along is One Direction and The Wanted don't get along. But the band's don't get a long either. When the bands don't get along and the fanbases don't get a l0ng it a recipe for disaster. 

Another thing about fandoms is coming up with a name. A lot of the best fandoms have good names. Usually the fandoms that don’t succeed are the ones that can’t get along and have a terrible name.

The owner of the clippers Donald Sterling has been in the news a lot this week for some of the things he has said. 

Spotify

If you don't use Spotify I honestly feel bad for you because it is the best thing that has ever come to my life. If you don't know what it is. It was orgianly made for your computer. You basically make an account and you start searching for songs and you download whole CDs or just individual songs. You can put them into playlist. Then you can make the playlists available offline. So if you aren't connected to the internet then you can still enjoy your music. Now they have as an app for cellphones as well. But with app you have to pay 9.99 a month for it. But for me it's worth it. Because you can still make your playlists offline. You can also add songs from your phone and it will just sync over the same Wi-Fi. I use my Spotify daily, at school, in my car, on trips.   

I think it is amazing that we can listen to music like that without paying for each individual song. I mean if you do the math for how many songs I have on my Spotify and multiplying it by $1.29, which is what it costs on iTunes. I have like 400-500 songs on mine and divide it by $10 it is more than worth it. Another thing that I love about Spotify is that you when you have it on your phone it doesn't even use up that much space. With 400-500 songs it uses up about 1.7 GB. But if you put that into context I have 324 songs on my phone of actual music and it uses up 3.6 GB of memory. 

Another awesome thing about Spotify that I strongly suggest is logging in through Facebook. Then you can follow you friends from Facebook and see the music they are listening too. Also Spotify uses the songs you add to your account and give you recommendations of songs and artists you might be interested. I enjoy that too. I like finding new artists. Spotify also is really good at having new releases on their pretty quick.

If you use Spotify do you like it or hate it. If you don't I strongly recommend it to anybody that loves music and doesn't want to pay for the outrages price of music. I remember when songs on iTunes were 99 cents what happened. They do have a free version on the app stores but I think it is only free for a limited time I am not sure about it. I have never used it.

2048

There is a new game that everyone has been playing. It is called 2048. I started playing it as well. At first I was really confused on what to do. I was just swiping in random directions and i kept losing. Surprising! Then among my random swiping I started to figure out what I actually needed to do. So you start with a blank 4 by 4 board. When you first start a block with a number two is on the board. Then in whatever direction you swipe in that is where a number comes from. The reason you swipe is to get numbers to add together. The one kick is that you can only add the same numbers together. Your goal is to try to get one tile to 2,048. Once the board is full and you can't combine anything else you lose. 

I downloaded this game on Friday and I have been playing it all weekend. On Saturday we were running errands. We would literally be in the care for like 5 minutes. I was playing it for every single minute. It is a great time waster but at the same time it is very addicting. I know it has taken my whole school by storm. When I first saw it I was extremely confused. But know that I have started playing I can't stop. But at the same time I strongly encourage it.  

I think it is weird how we get so addicted to using games or apps like this. It drives us crazy that we are addicted to it. But at the same time we want others to become addicted to it. We want them to have a common interest or addiction with us. Some people hear the words addicting game and they don't want any part of it. They don't even want to try because they know that they will get sucked in. Then there are those that are like a new thing to waste my time what is it. I know I am more like the second person but my family is more like that first person.  

I wonder why we try to get other people addicted and liking or playing the same things we do. It’s like some sort of weird connection over an app. When you put in that context it sounds weird.  If you download 2048 let me know if you like or hate it and what your high score is. 

Lady Gaga Versace Ad

If you haven't seen her Versace ad it’s okay you probably wouldn't have recognized her anyway. Here is a link to the picture. If you can't tell the picture on the right is the one that has been edited. When I first looked at this picture it was kind of like that game you played when you were little. You the one that was on every kid's menu at every restaurant, where you had to spot the differences. That is what I did to these two pictures I tried to spot the differences.

First of all in the picture on right her face looks very shimmery and tan. Like she is wearing foundation and/or blush. Then in the picture on the left it looks like she isn't wearing any make up. She looks like she just got out of bed. Her lips also looked chapped on the picture on the left, then on the other side she is wearing lip gloss. The shape of her face is also very different. On the right it is very angled and almost perfect looking. Then on the right it looks nothing like that. Her cheeks almost look puffy. Again like she just woke up. Then her hair on the left side is yellowish. Then on the right it is like platinum, almost white. On the left as well her hair looks like she is wearing a wig and it's falling off. On the right it looks better obviously but her roots don't look very good. Next her legs on the right at almost shimmery like her face. They look tan and tone, her legs look like a Barbie’s legs. (Which I don't consider a good thing, but other people might). On the left it looks like her knees are bruised and banged up. If you look at the background of both pictures you can tell that the right hand picture has been darkened. 

I guess it’s good we have such good editing. But if they have to do that much to make you look better is it really worth it. I thought Lady Gaga would be against all of this. I checked her twitter to see if she said anything about it and she didn't. If she was "Born That Way" why isn't she embracing it? Instead she is hiding it. I think by now her fans know and the rest of America knows that all celebrities have bad picture days and some just are not photogenic. That’s okay just don’t hide it. Own it. Make it yours.    

Coachella

If you haven't heard of "Coachella" you must live under a rock or don't have any social media accounts. Coachella is a music and art festival in California. It is in Coachella Valley or what is known as Palm Springs. There are a lot known and unknown artists there. It was going on all this weekend and all next weekend. If you were curious as to who was going to be there is here is a list of the line up. It has a great turn out. There has been quite of celebrities there as well. Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Paris Hilton, Kellan Lutz, Jared Leto, Lindsay Lohan, Katy Perry, Fergie, Tony Hawk, Kendall Jenner and many more. A lot of them tried to dress to fit in, but obviously it didn't work. There were also a lot youtubers there. JC Caylen, Ricky Dillon, JennXPenn and Rebecca Black. 

After seeing all of these pictures this weekend I am already sick of hearing about it. It's not even the fact that I am jealous, because there is only like 5 people I would be interested in seeing. I am just sick of everyone tweeting about it and posting instagram pictures and videos. Especially when that is all I see on my timeline. At point this weekend I just stopped going on social media apps. I think it's great if you are there to see all of the pictures and videos. But if you aren't there it gets really annoying. 

The price is decent for this festival to on Coachella's website it says that for 3 days of the festival its $60 and that includes transportation from each part of the festival to see different people. They also offer where you could stay on site at Coachella in a tent. It looks really cool in the picture. That doesn't mean it actually is though.

I am just really frustrated with the whole thing. Hearing about it all this weekend and then again all next weekend is just annoying. It is like a terrible song that they keep playing on the radio over and over again. You can’t get enough of it but at the same time it drives you up the wall when you hear it. I also get excited to see celebrities there. Their outfits are not cute though. They are just not my cup of tea, but it is really fitting for the event.

Commercialization of Easter

With Easter coming right around the corner it got me thinking on how a holiday that is religious became a holiday about bunnies and candy and searching for eggs. Which is another thing I don't understand why are there Easter egg hunts during Easter. When bunnies don't even lay eggs they are mammals. The Easter Bunny is like Santa but for the spring. The Easter Bunny leaves eggs for you to find and then you get other presents and candy from the Easter Bunny.

This holiday is very important for Christians. Because on Easter Sunday is the day the Jesus died and rose again to pay for the price of our sins. Then somehow hardly anybody associates Jesus and Easter. People associate Easter with rabbits, eggs or candy. I did a little bit or research. The whole idea of getting eggs for Easter was brought to America in 1700's. Children made nests and when they woke up a creature left colored eggs in the nest. In Germany it is called "Osterhase". It eventually spread to the U.S.

Another thing is all of the candy during Easter. It is the second best selling candy holiday in America. They have all of this egg shaped candy, a ton of jelly beans and chocolate bunnies. All to put in an egg. You can’t forget Peeps either. Every year Easter comes around then comes the Peeps and all the different colors of peeps.  

A lot of these customs we now know as Easter they try to associate with the Christian holiday of Easter. But in my opinion I don't think they really associate together. Some people say that the Easter eggs are represented by Jesus coming out of the tomb.  Then they say that the Bunny represents a new life. I as a Christian it is really hard to associate all the commercialization of Easter to how Jesus died on the cross for us.  This and Christmas are really hard to see all of the commercials for Easter and spring deals. Just the other day I saw a commercial for Black Friday but in the spring. I think this ridiculous, almost as ridiculous as starting Black Friday on Thursday night. Anyway, if this holiday was commercialized as much as they are for candy, the Easter bunny and Easter egg hunts. But instead of all the fake stuff of Easter the actual reason for the season (so to speak) to spread the love of Jesus and share his story. Just think of this when you are celebrating all of your Easter festivities. 

Girl Meets World

I just head the news that there is going to be a new spin off of the show “Boy Meets World" it is called "Girl Meets World". It is about Corry and Topanga and their kids now. It is supposed to air on Disney channel this summer. I always and still do watch "Boy Meets World" I am so excited for this to air. In the new show they have 5 kids. Two girls and three boys. There is still not an official release date for the show. I am really excited to see how Corry and Topanga have grown up since the show. Also there will be some of the old characters from “Boy Meets World" in the new show "Girl Meets World". 

I am very curious of how this show will play out. I really don't want to be disappointed by the show. I feel like this is Disney's way of replacing another dysfunctional family on Disney Channel, "Good Luck Charlie". I think when that show ended there were a lot of people that were upset and really enjoyed the show. I have a younger sister me and her watched all the time. I know she was really upset that the show ended. I have a feeling that "Girl Meets World" is going also be a dysfunctional family but in a good way. A lot like "Good Luck Charlie" was. 

If you have never seen "Good Luck Charlie" it is another Disney Channel Show. This was a mom and a dad that had three kids already and the mom was pregnant with the first one when the show started. Her name was Charlie. The oldest daughter did little vlogs for her. To watch as she grows up and at the end of each vlog she would say "Well I am wishing you good luck Charlie" hence the name. I strongly recommend it. It is on netflix if you are interested. 

Anyway I think Disney wanted that dysfunctional family back that a lot of people could relate to. Knowing Corry and Topanga from "Boy Meets World" I would be surprised if they weren't dysfunctional. Especially with all the trouble that Corry and Topanga got in on the show. Unfortunately “Boy Meets World” isn't on Netflix but you can usually catch re-runs on ABC family and sometimes late at night on Disney channel. But you would be more likely to find it on ABC family rather than Disney Channel.

Magcon Boys

There is a new app that has surfaced to social media. If you haven't heard of it it is called Vine. On Vine you have to get your point across in a 6 second video. There is a lot of argument on if its a cop-out or if that makes them more creative.  Either way I give them credit trying to make someone laugh or show them something in 6 seconds isn't easy. 

To get to the point they do conventions for everything even for youtbers. So viners are not any different. Magcon stands for meet and greet convention. Well there are nine boys that are apart of magcon. They are Matt Espinosa, Cameron Dallas, Nash Grier, Carter Reynolds, Jack Johnson, Jack Gilinsky, Shawn Mendes, Taylor Caniff, Hayes Grier, and Aaron Carpenter. They kind of got thrown together for this convention. But they work really well together. They have become such good friends. Their personalities are so different but that what makes them awesome. It also helps that they are all VERY attractive. Shawn, Jack J and Jack G all sing together. So they usually make 6 sec singing videos. There was a lot of pranking that when on when they were on tour. 

With the Magcon Tour they go to to different cities for a weekend and they do two shows. Each show has two parts. The first part is just them dancing and screwing around even some singing. Then next part is the actual meet and greets part. Where you get to meet the guys and get autograph and pictures. Recently in their tour there has been a girl that added the group. Her name is Mahogny but she isn't as vine famous as the rest of them. 

If you get interested in any of these people let me know who you checked out and what you thought of them. OR if you checked them all out who is you favorite and why? If you can't get enough of their vines some of them also make YouTube videos as well. When they started to make their youtube videos there was big fight about it. Some people said they shouldn’t be on youtube if they make vine videos. But they got over it. I personally think their youtube videos are really good. If you check out their youtube channel just know that it isn’t their main focus. They only post on it occasionally. 

Spring Break

Now that we are getting back into groove of things after a whole week off of no responsibilities it has me thinking. Why do so many people these days make such a big deal about spring break. A lot of people think it a one week  to just party the whole time. In reality a lot of scary things can happen during spring break, while you are partying. Most people who go on spring break usually go somewhere warmer than where they already are. This gives you another stereo type for spring break. Is when you come back from spring break you are tanner. I went to California but I didn't come back tan.

I feel that if you go on spring break just to party you could end up sick or dead. It sounds really extreme but its true. If you go to Mexico they have a low drinking age. So a lot of college and high school students will go there just to party. Drinking that much in a week time you could black out, or get alcohol poisoning. Mexico also has all you can drink specials during this time. You don't always have to get sick from alcohol. Every year at least one student dies form jumping off a balcony. I mean that could partially be from alcohol. It could also be stupidity. When there is no one to discourage you from anything. You have no cares in the world. It is really easy to fall into peer pressure at this point.  

I think it is sad that this is what spring break has come to in our country. I personally didn't go out and party. I think partying is overrated any way. But what is the point of partying for a whole week, if first of all you don't even remember when you go back to school. You also if you have to fight the hang over later. I also know that there is also a drug involved in to spring break. Which doesn’t make it much better. 

Whatever you did for spring break I hope you were safe about it. I also hope you take some of things into consideration, when you plan your next spring break vacation. Why We Do We Care About The Thigh Gap?

If you hear girls obsess with their body. Then they mostly obsess over a thigh gap. There are girls that make tumblr pages dedicated to having a thigh gap. Just recently Target had a picture posted on their website that got them in a little bit of trouble.You should always read a book before you go see the movie. The books are always better than the movie. The movie can leave out details from the book. They do this to make the movie not four hours long. I feel that the thigh gap shouldn't that big of a deal. People should strive for something that is nearly impossible to do. Not everyone is going to have one, it just depends on your body type. It really bothers me that this is even an issue. Girls are dumb if they need to starve themselves and develop eating disorders to get a gap on their body. Boys who say they like a thigh gap are rude to even say that. If you are a guy you should never say that to a girl or about a girl. Unless you want her to die. I know it sounds extreme but if you say that than some girls might actually strive too hard to get that body. Girls will go to extremes to get that body.

One of the pictures I saw on tumblr really bothered it me. It said "Look at you legs, now put the food down" A girl had written that on her legs in sharpie. Her legs were fine too. They looked tanned and toned. There is nothing wrong with them. There is nothing wrong with anybody's body. Everybody including myself thinks there is always something wrong with how they look. Girls are really bad about this too. They always try to out do their friend with who looks the worse. It is so dumb. We were all created differently. Everybody's body is different. STOP WORRYING ABOUT WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE JUST DO YOU! YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL

X factor was canceled in the U.S. This makes me so upset. I really wanted to watch this season too. I love the show. It is one of my favorite singing show.

Two and A Half Men

There is a lot of drama right now with two and a half men. Charlie Sheen has been attacking Ashton Kutcher since he started on the show. It seems to be getting worse. Charlie Sheen has been  saying things that are  really rude nobody deserves to hear those things said to them.Charlie is saying reallly cruel things to him about how he doesn't deserve to be on the show. Basically he called him a fraud. He also said that he was a bad actor. Ashton did the right thing and was the bigger man and basically ignored what he said. I think Ashton Kutcher does a lot better job on the show than Charlie Sheen did. I do watch re-runs occasionally but I definitely like the new season a lot better.

Today during my break at work I was on pintrest and I saw this body wrap that is supposedly supposed to make you loose an inch around your waist,arm, leg or wherever you would like in one night. I am kind of skeptic on it. Here is what you do you want to put lotion let's just say on your stomach. The lotion should have an ingredient in it that you find on the beach than you put some on don't rub it in though. Then you wrap your stomach with plastic wrap then you wrap it with an ace wrap and wear it overnight. It claims that you are supposed to lose an inch overnight. Well after doing some research I found that there is a company that actually sells this. The one I have found on pinterest is supposedly a do it yourself one. I was on WebMd and they said that if the wrap did you make you lose inches it would only be temporary. You can't physically loose inches forever just by wrapping yourself up. It would only be good for special occasions. Like a day at the beach or a wedding. The inches will come back within 2-3 days. 

Body wraps aren't anything new. They have been around for a while. Before they used linen sheets in the 1980-90s then as they become more popular they started using plastic wrap or thermal blankets. It also makes you sweat a lot so you’re advised to drink a lot of water. There are also different kinds of wraps. There is the moisturizing wrap which you use lotion on the area and then wrap it. Then there is the detox wrap which has seaweed or mud so there is more of pulling action. Then there is the slimming wrap. It uses smaller pieces and wraps them tighter around your body. Then there is the cellulite wrap that uses a lot herbal stuff. Although the wrap doesn't get rid of cellulite or dimples in the skin it just may temporarily make them look better.

If you do decide to try this there are a few things I should warn you about. Using a wrap cannot take the place of eating healthy and exercising. It won't make you lose weight permanently. Also sense you sweat a lot when you are wearing the wrap it is good to stay hydrated.

Super Bowl Half Time Show

As I was watching the Super Bowl which was a tragic loss for the Broncos. But the half time show was one of the best ones they have had in a long time. Bruno Mars was really good. They only criticism I would have is that I wish The Red Hot Chili Peppers performed more. They only really sang one song. Bruno Mars sang like 5. He was really good though. 

I loved that he started with the little kids singing "billionaire" which was his first hit song. I bet those kids felt like they were on top of the world. That is something those kids will never forget. There was one thing I was worried about when he was performing. The thing I was worried about was that he was going to sing "Gorilla". If you haven't heard it, it is very inappropriate. He didn't though. I love that he sang old songs and some new songs.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers, I have never really been a fan of them but my mom used to like them. I didn't mind the song they sang it was one that a lot of people knew. They are quite the interesting band. Half of them were shirtless. The other half of them are head banging the whole time. I thought it was so weird because Bruno Mars was in a suit and tie alone with all the guys that were playing the instruments were in suits. Then there is the Red Hot Chili Peppers half naked. I thought they should have planned it better. But overall it was good half time show. I also liked all they fireworks had.  I also think that they had a bad location for the super bowl.  Why have it in New York you never how the weather is going to be. Why not have it in Miami? I also think that it is weird that they had Bruno Mars and The Red Hot Chili Peppers performing it together. They aren’t even really the same type of music. They are totally different. Maybe they were trying to get a more variety of people watching. Either way I don’t think it was a smart matching the two together.

Illegal Internet Activities.

If it is illegal to download free music off the internet and watch movies on the internet (besides Netflix) for free. Then why does everyone still it and not get in trouble. I know a lot of people and a lot of sites where you can download free music.And download music videos. I also know some sites where you can watch movies that are STILL in theaters. 

Watching the movies online are legal but whoever put the movies up could get in a lot of trouble. 

If things are illegal than how do people get away with it? Without any consequences. You never hear about anyone getting in trouble. There are even apps on the app store that you can download music for free. I don't know what this says as a society. I mean music on iTunes store is usually $1.29. I remember when it was only $.99 then they changed it. If you think about 1.29 for one song is not cheap. Why pay it when you can enjoy music for free. After doing some research downloading music online is pretty easy. First you have to find a website that does it. Some sites are different. Some use a YouTube link you just copy and paste others have a library you can choose from.  If you have an Android phone you can download straight to your phone and enjoy. But if you have an iPhone it is a little bit trickier. With an iPhone you have to download it to your computer then add it to your iTunes library. Then plug in you iPhone and enjoy. 

I know people that do this all the time because they don't want to pay for music which is understandable. If they say it’s illegal then why isn't there consequences for it. Why doesn't anyone get in trouble for doing it? There isn't any way for anybody to know that you do either. I didn't think it was that bad. Until I looked it up and it is about a $750 per file. So there is a consequence but not that many people get charged with it. I wonder why. 

If it is a movie I don’t think it is illegal because you aren’t actually downloading you are just watching it online. I think that the people uploaded it to the site are the ones that could get in a lot of trouble. So there are consequences to downloading music. I am not saying that you should in anyway or form. It is against the law and there is a fine. I am not encouraging it.

Is He Innocent or Guilty

If you haven't already heard the news then you don't get out much. But Justin Bieber was arrested this morning for drag racing with his friend, Lil Za. Then once he got pulled over he failed to pass a sobriety test. He was charged for a DUI and then was arrested. He was also under the influence of marijuana. Justin's entourage also blocked the street in the neighborhood. When the cops came Justin rolled down his window and the cop smelled alcohol. The police officer asked Justin to step out of the car and Justin did. Justin kept trying to get in his pants pocket.  Just before all of this Justin was at a club in Miami. He and his crew took a table all the way in the back. When he left the club there was only water bottles and Red Bull on the table. There was no sign of alcohol. His beliebers are going crazy right now. Some are defending him. Others are saying that he needs to learn his lesson.

I think his fans are in a hard spot right now. A lot of his fans have been with him since he started in 2009. They have been with him through all of the ups and the downs. Now this there a lot of mixed feelings. Some just left him altogether. There are some that still support him but don't agree with what he did. Then there are others that are defending him and his actions. I think he knows what he did was wrong. I know that he was guilty I am not defending him in any way. I also can't leave him after being a huge fan after 5 years. It's not that easy. I know a lot of people are out raged by it. I can understand some of it but at the same time he is a 19 year old with no structure in his life trying to be normal and it got him in trouble. From my point of view I think the things he did made sense. I again am not saying agree with what he did. Anyway,  he has been depressed for 5 month so that explains the anti-depressants and him smoking weed. Then he was drinking alcohol on top of that.  Here is where he went wrong, was when he got in the car and started drag racing. He risked his life and the life of others. I understand that he was just trying to have fun. But he shouldn't have done it while drink and while he was on an expired license. I think he deserved the punishment received from the law. I don't think should get more hate from the media. 

The media is turning him into a celebrity that doesn't even exist. They are putting out so many lies that if you don't even know the truth then you probably wouldn't like Justin either. The media is just taking everything he does and making lies about what he does. You never see the good things he does. Like during the hurricane in the Philippians he was there helping with clean up. Performing for them and playing games with the kids. He also recently helped build a school through the program Pencils of Promise. He and two other guys built a school from the ground up. You don't see the stuff in media. Also regarding him smiling in his mug shot. He said in his movie "Through all of the negativity you sometimes have to put a smile on your face and hide your true emotions." I know Justin realizes what he does was is wrong because I saw that police said when he made his one phone call he was on phone crying he said "what about my beliebers if  I even have any." I know he will learn from his mistakes and get help and start spending time with his family. 

American Idol Is Back

American Idol started season 13 last night. I have not yet watched it. It is just sitting on DVR. Honestly I don't think I am going to watch it. 418

My Crazy Beautiful Life

I started watching "My Crazy Beautiful Life" at the end of the first season. It started in April of last year.  If you don't have any idea what I am talking about. "My Crazy Beautiful Life" is show on MTV. It is show about Ke$ha. Her brother is the one that films the show. He follows her around to the studio, on tour and even when she is chilling at home. 

Before the show I kind of liked Ke$ha but the show made me love her. I mean I didn't mind her music but I also don't know that much about her. But after watching this show I honestly love her. I love her free spirit and how she doesn't care what people think of her. People have the wrong perception of her. Everyone thinks she doesn't have any talent and that she uses auto tune all the time.  

She does write her own songs and she sings them well. A lot of the songs she puts on the radio are auto tune but not all of her songs are like that. She works hard to perfect her music. She also have feelings. I mean everyone has feelings. But you get to see how the hate she receives actually affects her. Celebrities aren't superhuman.  It sad to see so much hate that she receives and she take it heart. 

Her family is crazy. Especially her mom.  There was one episode where Ke$ha was trying to sell some of her old clothes and stuff and was trying to sell it. A lot of it sold fast. Her mom was buying it from her online. The good thing was that all of the money went to charity.  Her brother is seen more in the second season. He tries to follow in his sister’s footsteps in music and start a band. Khe$ha strongly encourages him to be serious about it. Ke$ha also has a sister she is actually somewhat normal. Then her other brother is the one who films and produces the show. You usually don’t see him. The only way I remember he is there is because he sometimes talks during the show.

What I love most about this show is that she doesn't hold back from anything. Just because it is a reality show she still acts the same way she would if she wasn't on a show. She is very straight forward about everything.  If you haven't watched this show before I strongly recommend it. 

Wanelo

I don't know when I first heard about Wanelo. I just know that ever since then I have been addicted to it. I want to say it was about a year ago. Since then I have saved 1,234 products. If you don't know what Wanelo is. It stands for Want Need Love. It is an app and a website. It is where online stores can add the products to this site and people can see them. I mostly look at clothes and phone cases. But there is so much more on there. You can follow your favorite stores on there as well. I follow Forever 21, Target, American Eagle, Amazon, and Skreened to name a few. But I have also found new stores that I have never heard of before and followed them. Any shirt you have thought about making is on there. Another great thing about Wanleo is that there is stuff on here for everybody. Whoever you are trying to shop for even it's yourself you will most likely find something that is perfects for them.

There has been a lot of updates to it since I have started using Wanelo. One of them I like a lot is that you can change the price range you want in what trending. You can also choose if you want to look at women's, men's, home or all three at the same time. Every new trend that happens is also on here. Like right now you can find a ton of stuff on the movie frozen. Stuff for Valentines day. Whatever is coming up or trending you can most likely find on Wanelo. Let's just say you are looking for something specific on Wanelo. There is also a search option. Within that you can search just withing the store you follow or by all of the stores on Wanelo.

The thing I like about Wanelo is that I will see somthing that I have never seen before but it is a great idea.Or shirts that say stuff like that is so me. It is just exciting to see what new and trending on Wanelo. There is one thing I want to warn you about on Wanelo. Besides it being highly addictive, there are also some things on there that is not appropriate.There are some bad words and bad images depicted so just use at your own risk. Hilary Duff's Divorce

One of my favorite Disney stars that didn't end in train wreck. Is getting a divorce. Its Hillary Duff. She was married to Mike Comrie who is a hockey player. I think they are just adorable. There son Luca is also cute. Hilary Duff is always posting pictures of him on instagram. 

They announced that they were getting a divorce on Friday. Then earlier today they were seen together with their son Luca. I think this is to be expected. I mean they have a son they can't just never see each other again. They say that them splitting was mutual. When I first heard the news it almost made sense to me because whenever Hillary posts stuff on instagram it is of her and Luca or her and friends you hardly ever see them together on instagram. They are still best friends and are going to continue to be in each others life. I'm glad that they split because they were drifting apart. They tried to fix it with couples counselling. I am glad that they didn't just force there way through it and have it end in a big fight. I'm glad it was mutual and one didn't cheat on the other one. It is going to hard for their son Luca. I know from experience. It is better if you parents get divorced when you are younger rather than when you are a teen. When you are younger you don't remember as much. You just remember that how things have always been.

I honestly wish them the best. I have been a fan of Hillary Duff ever since the Lizzie McGuire show on Disney Channel. Then there was the Lizzie McGuire movie. Then she did a couple more movies after that. One of my favorite is "A Cinderella Story". 

Why You Should Read The Book Before The Movie

You should always read a book before you go see the movie. The books are always better than the movie. The movie can leave out details from the book. They do this to make the movie not four hours long.

Even if you don't like reading still read the book first. In the "Hunger Games" I read all of the books before I saw the first movie. For example in the book Katniss Everdeen got her infamous mocking jay pin from (essentially) a black market in district 12. She got it for free the day of the reeping. She gave it to her sister for good luck. Then when Katniss volunteered for her sister Prim, prim gave it back to Katniss. In the movie Katniss got from her stylist Cena. Also in the book when Katniss was saying her goodbyes to her loved ones. Peeta's father also stopped to giver her cookies from her bakery. In movie you just saw Kateniss with her loved ones. You never saw Peeta's father.  Another difference is the Avox girl. In the book she knew the Avox girl. She had the chance to save her and didn't. In the movie you just see her as an Avox girl. You don't see the relationship between the two. The last difference I noticed from the book to the movie is that in the book at the end the mutant dogs that came were to look like the other contestants that had died. IN the movie they just  made them scary. These mutant dogs are crucial to the sequel so we will see how they do that.

Another big movie and book was the "Twilight Saga." The first difference in the first book "Twilight is that in the book when Bella is on her way to her house she just has her Parka as a carry on. In the movie she has a cactus to remind her of home. Also in the book Jacob was the one to Bella about his history. This is when Bella found out that Edward was Vampire. In the movie Jacob only told her part of the story and she went to library to get a book about instead. Another big difference in the book  is that everything was down scaled compared to the movie. In the book Bella had an other desktop computer and a CD player. In the movie she has a new mac computer and an iPod. Also the Cullen's house was supposed to be white and old. In the movie it was grey and very very modern.

Even though a lot of these changes are minor some of them have a big importance to story line. That is why it's really important to read the book before you go see the movie. Especially if it is a series of books read the whole series before you see the first movie. Even if you have to wait for it to come out on DVD.

My Strange Addiction

Last night when I couldn't sleep after being up late for all of Christmas Break, I was watching the new episode of My Strange Addiction. The first episode I saw was of addicted to being a living doll. Which just sounds weird to begin with. The first one is a guy named Justin. He has had 115 plastic surgeries. He doesn't have a job either. He usually gets money from modeling or as gifts from boyfriends. He thinks of his body as his canvas and he can shape it anyway he wants. He loves doing it. He likes having control of his body Here is picture of him.



The second girl was a live doll. She hasn't had any plastic surgery but she one day wants to. Her family thinks she is going through a phase. It takes her like two hours to get ready in the morning. That just doesn't seem worth it to me. Her name is Emily. She wears contact lenses that make her eyes look big and glossy like a doll. She also wears fake lashes and wears wigs everyday. The reason Emily does this is because she is very insecure. She thinks that dressing up likes this gives her confidence. She goes to job interviews dressed like a doll. It almost seems like it is an alter ego for her. Her family really tries to talk out of going in public like a doll and only do it at home. Emily obviously refuses. Emily also meets with other girls that dress up as a doll and they all have a tea party together. Here is a picture of Emily



The last one was another girl her name was Venus. She also hasn't had any plastic surgery. She claims that she naturally looks like a doll.She also wears makeup to make her look more doll like. Venus currently lives in the U.K. but her dream is to a Japan doll model. Her Mom is manager. She also makes YouTube videos showing people how she gets her doll look. Not only does she look like a doll she also has a little squeaky voice kind of like a doll. She also does meet ups for her fans. Everyone loves her. I honestly don't understand the hype. In the episode she actually did a photo shoot for a contest. The winner got fly out to japan for a doll fashion show. They put her on a giant chair, she actually kind of look like a doll. The next episode was Addicted to being Twins. These two identical twin girls have been together their whole life. They work in same place, They share a room. They haven't been apart for more than five minuets. They also just started eating the same thing, so they will weigh the same as well. The whole thing about them is just creepy. They say the same stuff at the same time. Sometimes they finish each others sentences. Neither of them have a boyfriend. They go on dates together. They also tell their dates that they have never been separated. I feel like that isn't something you should say on a first date. If you were wondering, their names are Amy and Becky. They are 44 years old. I think that is too long to always be someone. I mean I am people person but at the same time I need alone time to hear my own thoughts.

The next part of the episode was a girl who was addicted to eating her mattress. She has been doing since she was 6 and she ate some of her car seat. Now she has this process where she uses a lint roller to get all of the hair and lint of the piece of the mattress. Then she puts it on her tongue to make sure she got it all off then she eats it. She has been eating if for 20 years. At this point she is like it hasn't hurt me yet so why stop. She has eaten almost all of her mattress. So sometimes she sneaks into her moms room and takes some of her mattress. She did end up going to the doctor and it is actually ruining her whole digestive system it is quite gross.

Watching these episodes has made me grateful that I am not addicted to anything.
